Forum rules
- Nothing here is legal advice. Members are not your solicitor. For advice on your own case, speak to an OISC-regulated adviser or an immigration solicitor.
- Do not post personal data. No passport numbers, GWF/UAN reference numbers, full addresses, or photographs of documents. Redact everything before uploading.
- No touting. Advisers, consultants and agents may not advertise services, solicit DMs, or post referral links. Answer questions publicly or not at all.
- Cite the source. When you state a requirement, link to the Immigration Rules, GOV.UK guidance, or your endorsing body’s published criteria. “My agent said” is not a source.
- Say when your information is dated. This route changes often. Always state the month and year your experience relates to.
- No dishonesty. Any post suggesting how to mislead an endorsing body or the Home Office will be removed. Deception findings carry a re-entry ban.
- Be civil. People here are often anxious and thousands of pounds deep. Disagree with the claim, not the person.
How to get a useful answer
Post in the right board, and open with the facts anyone would need: your current immigration status, which endorsing body you are dealing with, the stage you are at, the date of each step so far, and the specific question. Vague questions get vague answers.
