The UK Innovator Founder Forum is an independent community for people applying for, holding, or extending the UK Innovator Founder visa — the route that replaced the Innovator and Start-up visas on 13 April 2023.
Why it exists
This route is small, changes often, and is poorly served by general immigration forums. The approved endorsing body list has been cut repeatedly. Contact point meetings have almost no published detail. Settlement depends on business performance criteria that most founders only think about at year two. Applicants end up piecing the picture together from scattered blog posts written by people selling something.
The aim here is simpler: founders comparing notes in public, with sources cited and dates attached.
What this is not
- Not legal advice. Nothing posted here is advice on your case. Consult an OISC-regulated adviser or an immigration solicitor.
- Not official. No affiliation with the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration, the Department for Business and Trade, or any endorsing body.
- Not a marketplace. Advisers and agents may not advertise here.
